I heard it will come out early in 2009. Is this true?

I new DS version came out in Japan. It is longer, brighter, thinner, and can take pictures and play music. It will hit USA shelves in the middle of 2009. But does it have a microphone like the original DS and DS lite?

I am planning to get a DSI and bring it back to Australia but i found out it was region locked so i have a question is Australia part of the Asia region like France is part of Europe or it is South pacific (i doubt they’d make a region just for some small islands not to be rude) or it’s one region by itself.
I would really like this question answered by the 15th of January 2009

The new Nintendo DSi will be released on April 5th, 2009 and I intend to get it for my birthday. I know it will have access to the Internet, and I was wondering if one can get on Facebook/Twitter, e-mail, etc.

Can someone please tell me what month the Nintendo dsi is coming out in the US?
