Dsi Will be the Next Psp

DSi has been exploited in just 3 days after retail release, thanks to the author Yasu, a Japanese well-known hacker who contributes Ysmenu on Nintendo DS. A 21-second demonstration video has been put on his youtube channel, though the image is veiled and foggy. For anyone familiar with firmware it means the complete change of DS + flashcard concept of consumer demand. Why say that? We suggest you to recollect the official announcement by Nintendo just before the release of DSi, ?There will be no Slot-2 anymore but we introduce a SD slot instead, which can be used as an interface of media player, book reader and photo storage?. So do you remind something similar to memory stick of PSP? We have to refer to another hacking genius who unveils the protected system of Sony?s PSP, Dark Alex. He just pours his thought into SD slot and that drives Sony mad. Now you may follow what we are talking about. Any digital equipment with direct attached storage device does become the stage of homebrew inevitably, no matter Wii or DS. Why can?t we suppose that if there will be another M33 system on DSi which allows users to run various homebrews and even dumped games as PSP does? You may ask Nintendo mustn?t go crazy and has it in for money. We respect for your option due to the reason everyone knows, the homebrew does harm to game developers? benefit and Nintendo since boatload of ROMs download services on the internet, sensible consumers are likely to choose the cheap and reliable one under the circumstance of finance crisis worldwide. Why does Nintendo design a new hot handhold console but with such a miserable storage device which hackers titter at? Since the day DS born, Nintendo stands on the concept that it profits from the solid innovation of game itself but not the investment in hardware index enhancement, they get returns on every DS they sell. DSi doesn?t make huge improvement in hardware essentially compare to DS and DS lite, but there must be more games related with camera and mediaplayer function in the future. And please do not forget the e-shop of DSi, which may lures users to pay more than used to be. How about the flashcard, the most disgusted device by Nintendo but the beloved one by DS players? From our point of views, it?s better to accept the homebrew booting by SD slot than waste time and money to fight against card manufacturers endlessly. Nintendo knows the result and cuts off the lifeline flashcard merchant lives by. Nintendo handles it in a perfect way. At last let?s read the word Yasu leaves on his blog, he says his main aim is no more than operating homebrew on DSi and he won?t get involved in flashcards right now. Right now? We aren?t sure, and you, the curious ones?
